This baseball camp is for all boys interested in baseball at CCHS.  This camp will help all players improve their individual skills of fielding, throwing, and hitting, as well as offer position-specific drills and training.  In addition, the Knights baseball philosophy of offense, defense, and baserunning will be emphasized.

Alec Kowalczyk

Coach Kowalczyk has been involved in Knights baseball for over 15 years as a player and now as a coach.  Coach Kowalczyk has helped lead the Knights to a Regional Championship in 12 out of the last 13 seasons!  He was also an assistant coach when the team took 3rd in state in 2017!  Coach Kowalczyk's email is alec.kowalczyk13@gmail.com.

This camp is for all CCHS boys that want to play football.  Essential for success in the fall, this all-inclusive football camp will teach on-field skills and team concepts, and will also have a strong emphasis on strength and speed training by utilizing the weight room.  Please note the camp fee is listed as $0 for registration purposes.  However, there will be a football fee to be paid in June that will cover the cost of this camp along with all expenses for the upcoming season.  As the dates indicate, Camp is on Mon, Tues, & Thurs in June and July.  Please see the football calendar from Coach Cesario for more details on 7-on-7's, Unity Camp, and other potential summer football events.

CJ Cesario

Coach Cesario took over the Knights football program in 2024.  In his first season at the helm, the Knights won the State Championship for the first time in school history!  Coach Cesario was also named the Area's Coach of the Year by the Daily Southtown.  Prior to coming to CCHS, he coached at Mt. Carmel High School.  Before moving to Chicago, he was a college and high school coach in the Chattanooga, TN area.  In his playing days, he was a WR at the University of Minnesota.  In addition, Coach Cesario works in the CCHS Recruitment office as well.  He can be reached at ccesario@chicagochristian.org.

This soccer camp is for all CCHS boys interested in soccer.  The camp is an essential way to prepare for the fall season, which begins just a week after this camp concludes.  Individual skills and team concepts will be trained, and the Knights soccer identity will be emphasized.  Additional open field and conditioning opportunities are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the summer.  Coach Mack will provide more details.

Danny Mack

Coach Mack took over the boys’ soccer program as head coach in 2020.  Before that time, he was an assistant and the JV coach for three years.  Coach Mack still competes at a high level on a semi-pro team out of DeKalb as a goalkeeper.  He helped lead the Knights to their first two ever Sweet 16 berths in 2022 and in 2024!  He can be reached at dannymack0324@hotmail.com.    

This camp is for all CCHS boys that want to play volleyball.  This camp will help all boys take the next step in their development.  Various drills will address position specific skills as well as team concepts.  The foundation for Knights Boys Volleyball is laid at this essential camp.

Troy Grevengeod

Coach Grevengoed has led the Knights girls volleyball program since 2022 and is taking over the boys program for the first time.  He coached for over 20 years at Richards High School, where he teaches Outdoor Education.  In each of Coach Grevengoed’s first three seasons, he has led the Knights girls team to Regional and Sectional Championships!  Coach Grevengoed can be reached at tgrevengoed@chicagochristian.org.

This baseball camp is for boys entering 5th-8th grade looking to improve their all around game. The Knights coaching staff along with current Varsity Knights will lead campers in the skills of hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching through various drills, activities, and games.  This camp will help improve your skills and technique in a fun and competitive environment!  Our baseball field is the elevated one on the right at Schaaf Fields-6100 W College Dr, Palos Heights.

Alec Kowalczyk

This youth football camp will help boys develop their football skills in a low-contact environment.  Boys will do a mini-combine and learn the skills of all positions in order to help them succeed in middle school football and beyond.  Coach Cesario and Varsity Knights are sure to make this a fun and memorable camp!

This boys volleyball camp is great for boys of all ability levels.  Fundamental skills of passing, setting, and serving will be the primary focus as well as learning rotations and different position-specific skills.  A variety of fun and competitive drills and games will be employed.

This co-ed running camp is for cross country and track runners and anyone looking to improve their overall endurance.  Participants of all ability levels are welcome and will be coached at an appropriate level.  This camp meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on alternating weeks throughout the summer.  They meet at the CCHS Track on Mondays and Wednesday and at 40 Acre Woods on Thursdays.  Please reach out to Coach Christiansen (jchristiansen@chicagochristian.org) with any questions.

Jake Christiansen

Coach Christiansen has been coaching at CCHS since 2013.  During his time at CCHS, the girls cross country team captured multiple IHSA Regional and Sectional titles, placing 5^th in State in 2022 and 6^th in State in 2023!  Additionally, boys track won IHSA Sectional Championships in 2022 and 2023!  Coach C was a standout runner in high school and at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.  He is a math teacher at CCHS as well.  He can be reached at jchristiansen@chicagochristian.org.     

Calling all atheltes looking to take their game to the next level: this strength training camp is for you!  Athletes from all sports are welcomed and encouraged to commit to this strength training camp that will help them get stronger, faster, and more explosive for their upcoming seasons.  Strength Training Coach Matt Kamp will lead this camp that meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout the summer.  The camp is free but registration is required to reserve your spot.

Strength Training Coach Matt Kamp will run this camp for all interested CCHS athletes.  You will get stronger, faster, and more explosive throughout the summer!

This camp is for boys and girls entering 5th-8th grade that are looking to improve their skills through the fundamentals of the game. Coach Danny Mack and Coach Keith Budinger, along with current Varsity Knights, will lead the campers in a variety of drills, games, and fun activities.  Campers are guaranteed to improve their skills and have a ton of fun!  The soccer field is on the West side of the Schaaf complex at 6100 W College Dr, Palos Heights.

Coach Danny Mack and Coach Keith Budinger

This camp is for boys and girls entering 5th-8th grade who are interested in the sport of track.  Campers will be taught the basic skills of all track and field events.  This camp will have a focus on the specific sport of track and field, but all athletes are welcome to attend in order to improve their speed, strength, and overall athleticism.  Track coaches Jake Christiansen and Joey Cabrera will run this camp with the assistance of current Varsity Knights.

Coach Jake Christiansen has been coaching at CCHS since 2013.  During his time at CCHS, the girls cross country team captured multiple IHSA Regional and Sectional titles, placing 5^th in State in 2022 and 6^th in State in 2023!  Coach C has led Knights girls track to multiple conference championships and has coached six girls to All State status.  Coach C was a standout runner in high school and at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.  He is a math teacher at CCHS as well. Coach Joey Cabrera joined the Knights coaching staff in 2024.  In addition to being the head track coach, Coach Cabrera also coaches Knights football as an assistant.  He has coached and trained many youth and high school athletes as a certified personal trainer as well.  Knights boys track has had great success recently including winning Sectional Championships in 2022 and 2023 and also sending at least nine athletes to state each of the last three years.  Coach Cabrera can be reached at coachcabrera12@gmail.com.

This camp is for CCHS girls interested in cheerleading.  Girls will be taught the basics of formations and cheers, along with more advanced skills of stunting and tumbling.  An outside cheer trainer from National Cheer Association will be assisting in the all day camps on July 29-30.  This camp is essential for the growth and development of the team.

Katie Jager

Coach Jager joined the CCHS coaching staff in 2019.  She coached for 2 years at Chicago Christian-Tinley before being hired at CCHS.  A graduate of CCHS, Coach Jager also owns her own educational business, K.Samuel Educations in Hair.  Her email is katie.jager5@gmail.com   

This camp is for all CCHS girls interested in playing soccer.  This camp will lay the foundation for continued success in the Spring.  Individual skills and team concepts will be honed.  Additional open field play opprtunities will be available at no extra cost.  Coach Budinger will inform the girls of these additional dates and times.

Keith Budinger

Coach Budinger became the girls head coach in 2023.  Coach Budinger has coached youth soccer all the way up to semi-professional soccer here in Chicago and in his native England prior to coming here.  Since Coach Budinger has taken over, the roster has doubled in size from 15 girls to 30!  He can be reached at keithbudinger@comcast.net

This cheer camp will lay the foundation for the cheer skills chants, formations, choreography, tumbling, and stunts.  Coach Jager and the Knights cheerleaders guarantee all involved will have a great time at camp!  The camp is open to girls in 1st through 8th grade and appropriate skills will be taught to younger and older girls alike!
