This camp has an 8 camper minimum. Camp Goals: Anatomy (bones, muscle groups and ligaments), Medical Terminology (planes of motion and directional terms), Thermal Modalities (hot packs, ice bags and ice baths), Taping (wrists, thumbs and ankles), Injuries to be discussed (ankle, knee, wrist, thumb and finger sprains; fractures; and concussions), and Emergency Care (splinting of fractures, CPR and EMS activation). **Athletic Training Aides will be given the opportunity to test for proficiency in the skill areas outlined on the Athletic Training Aides Proficiency Check-off form at the end of the camp and throughout the school year. Training of this sort in a dedicated camp will allow the Athletic Training Aides to receive instruction that will allow them to function in a capacity that enables them to assist the Certified Athletic Trainers with the care of the student-athletes. This will potentially raise the standard of health care provided to the student-athletes by the Athletic Training Department, improve the efficiency of the Athletic Training Room, resulting in less practice and game time loss by the student-athletes, and will allow the Certified Athletic Trainers to focus on injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation. The Athletic Training Aides will be able to perform 50-75% of all daily tapings in the athletic training room. They will be able to function independently as a provider of First Aid for minor cuts and scrapes. They will be able to apply thermal modalities without step-by-step instruction from the Certified Athletic Trainers. They will be able to discuss an injury, treatment or rehabilitation program using appropriate anatomical and medical terminology. They will be able to assist the Certified Athletic Trainer in an emergency medical situation with knowledge of what materials will be needed and steps will be followed.

Open to beginners and advanced badminton players, this one-week camp provides campers with instruction in the core fundamentals of badminton and singles and doubles strategy. Camp will include developing skills such as: movements on the court, stroke technique, and strategy of the game. In addition, campers will have plenty of playing opportunities with daily challenge matches and a fun camp tournament at the conclusion of the week.

Each camper will receive a free tee-shirt.

You will learn from former professional dancers and the H-F Dance Coaching Staff. Each dancer will learn multiple styles and genres, from Jazz to Modern, and Hip Hop to Ballet. This camp will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running, with experienced coaches and varsity players providing instruction and feedback. Participants should bring plenty of water, gym shoes or turf shoes (no metal cleats), a glove, and athletic clothing (softball pants preferred). Whether you're new to the game or looking to refine your skills for the next season, this camp is a great opportunity to grow as a player!
