The Human Figure: Drawing & Anatomy Camp (Ages 12–18)
Students will learn how professional artists draw the human figure through gesture drawing,
anatomy studies, and longer observational drawings from live clothed models. This camp
introduces the fundamentals of proportion, movement, and structure while helping young artists
gain confidence drawing people. Materials used are pencil & charcoal on paper.
Students will practice:
● gesture drawing
● figure proportions
● basic anatomy
● shading and form
● longer finished figure drawings
Perfect but not limited to students interested in illustration, comics, animation, or portfolio
development.

The Jr. Canes Fall Sideline Cheer Program is designed to introduce young athletes to cheerleading in a fun, positive, and age-appropriate environment while supporting our Jr. Canes football teams during the fall season.
Participants will learn basic cheers, chants, motions, and sideline routines that promote teamwork, confidence, and school spirit. This program focuses on sideline participation at games, sportsmanship, and having fun—rather than competition.
Jr. Canes Sideline Cheer is open to athletes of all experience levels. No prior cheer experience is required. Our goal is to create an encouraging atmosphere where participants can build confidence, make friends, and be part of the Jr. Canes community.
Cheer participants will cheer during home football games, with practices and schedules coordinated around the Jr. Canes football season. Additional details regarding practice times, uniforms, and season expectations will be shared prior to the start of the season.

Our Tackle Football program offers two teams designed to match players by age and skill: a 5th Grade Team, which also welcomes interested 4th graders, and a 6th Grade Team, which allows heavier or more advanced 5th graders to play up. Both teams have weight limits to ensure safety and competitive balance.
Players will develop advanced football skills, teamwork, and discipline in a supportive, challenging environment. Our experienced coaches emphasize player safety while providing a fun and competitive atmosphere that helps athletes grow and prepare for higher levels of play.
