Kids will learn basic fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and much more during our Kiddie camp. They will be practicing on lower hoops along with regulation size hoops in order to ensure their maximum success. Come practice with us and grow your love for the game! Bring your own water bottle. Basketball camp for boys entering 1st-4th grades.  Camp will be run by the RedHawk coaching staff led by Brian Hynes and current and former players.  Camp will focus on basic FUNdamentals of basketball like dribbling, passing, defense, and lay-up shooting.  The camp will also include basketball related games to enhance and emphasize the skills being taught.

We will not do any headers for the any children under the age of 12.

The Marist RedHawk Kiddie camp will cover the basic fundamentals of throwing, fielding, hitting, pitching, catching, and base running. The campers will have small group instruction lead by the Varsity coaching staff and players. Over the last twenty seasons, Marist boys basketball has over 375 victories. During this time, the Redhawks have won six regional championships, 24 tournament championships, and an East Suburban Conference title in 2017, 2024, and 2025. In the past fifteen years, nine players have gone onto play Division One basketball at school that include Northwestern, Valparaiso, Missouri State, Youngstown State and Samford. At camp the coaching staff, and current players will work with campers to develop their skill work in an engaging and fun environment. A camp shirt is included as well.

Over the last eighteen seasons, Marist basketball has over 320 victories, including an average of over 20 wins per season for the last fifteen years.  During this time, the RedHawks have won five regional championships, 23 tournament championships, and an ESCC title in 2017.  In the last fifteen years, nine players have gone on to play at the Division I level, including Jimmy Griffin '05 (Samford), Mitchell Bouie '06 (Central Connecticut State), Jeremy Nash '06 (Northwestern), Nick Valla '10 (Missouri State),  LJ McIntosh '13 (Texas Pan-American), Lexus Williams '13 (Valparaiso), Nic Weishar '14 (University of Notre Dame-football), Jeremiah Ferguson '15 (Youngstown State) and Justin Brown '17 (Tennessee-Chattanooga).  The staff (including current players and alumni of the program) will work with the campers to help improve each players' overall basketball skills in a fun, engaging, and exciting environment.  Shorts, shirt, socks, and good gym shoes are needed.  A camp shirt is included.

Incoming freshman football camp to prepare athletes for the fall season. Camp will include strength and speed training, football fundamentals, and installation of Marist football schemes.  Camp will be held as follows: 

In June, camp will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm on the following dates: June 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, and 26th.

In July, camp will be held from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on the following dates July 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th, and 31st.

No camp the week of July 4th.

Athletes of all sorts including football, basketball, soccer, and hockey players make the transition to lacrosse in the spring throughout the area. Marist High School head coach, Chaas Collins and members of the his staff, will work alongside players to improve fundamental techniques and develop advanced lacrosse skill sets. Players looking to excel at the next level will work on individual skills in small competitive groups, and large group game situations. All phases of the game will be addressed during the camp, and players will feel more confident in their improved knowledge of the game and individual skills.

Camp is open to all skill level and positions. Campers should bring their own sticks, helmets, gloves, shoulder and arm pads, and mouth guards. Goalies are encouraged to attend.

This camp is for 5th-8th grade boys and girls who are looking for an introduction to rugby that is fun, active, teaches rugby skills and helps players develop physically, mentally, and socially. See why rugby is such a unique sport unlike any other and how the skill set from rugby translates to all other sports.  Rugby is truly the sport for anyone, there is a position for everyone.

Wear shorts, t-shirt and cleats/gym shoes.  Bring a water bottle.

Marist's Running Camp offers young runners (6th through incoming freshmen) an introduction to the sport of distance running.   It will help young runners to build a base by focusing on nutrition, stretching, and conditioning. The boys' program has garnered numerous titles over the years in track and cross country sending numerous teams and individuals downstate. Following the camps, weekly running is offered for interested students to help maintain conditioning. Bring a water bottle and good running shoes. Running Camp is highly encouraged and especially helpful for incoming freshmen wanting to run cross country in the Fall.

Campers participating in the camp will be divided by position and age into smaller groups that will cover defensive instruction in the areas of infield, outfield, pitching, and catching. At our camp, we will be learning new music and will perform a concert at the end of the camp for family and friends. This is a wonderful opportunity to play with students from different schools and make new friends while creating music together! This camp is open to ALL grade school students entering grades 4-8 with band experience. The cost for the camp is $100, which will include the cost of music, instruction and a t-shirt. All students will need to bring their own instrument. If you are a percussionist or tuba player, we will provide instruments for you. The concert will be held on Friday, June 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the Theater and should end around 6:45 p.m. at the latest.

This camp is designed to introduce students to the world of broadcasting and video production by using real world TV equipment in our MHS Studio. Learn the basics of performing on camera and shooting videos. At the end of camp, parents and friends will be able to watch a compilation of the campers' performances which will posted on our YouTube channel, MHS Studio Chicago.

Chess camp will allow students to explore and improve their chess skills.  During our camp students will learn different openings and strategies to navigate the board.  Also, some alternate chess games will be introduced to add to the importance and fun of chess.

Marist High School Boys Lacrosse staff, and some of the top area graduates at these positions welcome the Southside area talent to come sharpen their skills before the start of the summer season. Our goal is to build our areas sports specialized positions through athletic training geared to strengthen the muscular and motor skills needed to excel both in goal, and at the face-off position. Hosted at our state of the art, climate controlled Larry Tucker Sportsplex our athletes will receive sports specific training on how to continue their path on becoming a great goaltender or elite face-off specialist. With two indoor turf fields each position will be receiving separate, individualized training uninterrupted by the other. Players should be fully equipped for camp as equipment will not be provided.
