Who’s it for?

Anyone who is entering 5th through 8th Grade who is interested in competing in Cross Country for their school this upcoming fall. We are ready to train anyone at any skill level!
What to expect?

Running! Of course there will be running that fits the needs of each runner, this camp is intended to improve the aerobic capacity and anaerobic capacity of each athlete. Athletes who are able to attend at least 80% of the camp should expect improvement!

Fun!! There will be games at the end of practices and fun spread throughout the week!

The Father McGivney Catholic High School Boys and Girls Soccer Camp is designed to develop age-appropriate skills in the sport of soccer while developing a passion for the game. This camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels. During camp, players will improve foot skills and 1v1 play, as well as participate in scrimmages and games...and of course FUN! Campers should wear shin guards and bring a ball and water. Players will be split up by grades.

Equipment and Ball Types
Athletes participating in the class will use a variety of tennis balls, including orange, green, and yellow types. Some of these balls are designed to be softer and move at a slower pace compared to standard yellow tennis balls. This variety in equipment supports skill development and accommodates different levels of ability.
Focus on Skill Development
The class is designed to emphasize the development of essential tennis skills. Participants will work on improving their coordination and overall confidence on the court. Instruction will cover fundamental techniques such as proper footwork, stance, swing, and serve.
Introduction to Mental Game and Strategy
In addition to physical skills, the class will introduce players to the mental aspects of tennis, including the basics of game strategy. This holistic approach aims to build a strong foundation for both new and more experienced athletes.
Grouping by Ability Level Players will be grouped according to their current skill levels. This method allows beginners to learn at a comfortable pace, while more advanced participants can continue to challenge themselves and further improve their abilities.
The Junior Kids Tennis Camp is designed to introduce younger athletes to the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and supportive environment.

This is for girls currently in grades Kindergarten-2nd grade grade (2025-2026 school year) This will be a camp focused on fun and the fundamentals of basketball practicing dribbling and ballhandling, passing, shooting, defense, and rebounding. There will be small skill based games as well. There is a maximum of 26 campers. The registration deadline is May 5 so I can order size 27.5 basketballs for each of the girls that they can take home at the end of the camp. There won't be shirts provided at this camp.
