Through a variety of practice activities, individualized instruction, and creative projects, campers will develop drawing, painting, and sculpting skills and techniques.

This summer, golf campers can expect to learn some of the basics of golf including club grip, swing techniques, and proper club selection all according to their skill and age level. More experienced golfers will practice specialized putting skills and chipping and targeting techniques. Both camps include prizes and contests to help participants develop and improve their golf skills.

Students will learn proper lifting techniques, develop an understanding of sport-specific exercises, and build confidence in the weight room. Collectively, the coaches bring diverse experience to the team including Division I playing experience and lacrosse coaching experience. During camp, participants will learn the rules of the game, practice and refine playing skills, and compete together through contests and team games.

Campers will have the opportunity to learn about what goes into putting a story together for the news, and will also get to play around with some of the equipment we have (green screen, microphones, etc) and even put together some on the go reports around the school.

Mary Kate Duffy

McAuley alumna Kelly Malone returns for her 11th year coaching the Mighty Mac Cross Country Team. As a former standout runner, Coach Malone continues to instruct, challenge, and motivate runners to reach their potential. At camp, girls will learn middle to long distance running (0.5 - 3 miles), how to warm up and cool down properly, and proper hydration and nutrition.

Do you like trivia? Put your knowledge to the test at our Scholastic Bowl Camp! This fun, fast-paced camp builds knowledge, confidence, and teamwork through exciting quiz-style games and challenges. Campers will sharpen their skills in science, history, literature, math, and more—all while making friends and learning strategies from experienced McAuley players and coaches. Whether you’re new to scholastic bowl or ready to level up, all skill levels are welcome. This is a great opportunity for incoming Freshman to learn about Scholastic Bowl so you are ready to join the team this fall!

Stage Crew camp gives students 7th-9th grade the opportunity to learn set and prop construction, scene painting and stage makeup techniques and a glimpse into lighting and sound design. Students will assist in the construction of the stage for the Curtain Call Camp show.

Strings Camp is an opportunity for String players of all levels of experience to be part of a fun and engaging orchestra!  Beginners will enjoy the excitement of starting a new instrument while experienced players will develop leadership. Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Basses are supplied to those who do not own a personal instrument free of charge. This is a great introduction to the Strings family of instruments!

Coach DeJarld and staff have designed McAuley volleyball camp to provide campers of all ability levels a rewarding and enjoyable experience.  Campers will receive training in fundamentals, tactics, and technique in all skills in a challenging and fun atmosphere.
