Available to boys and girls!  The SCN Badminton coaching staff will be offering 1 camp for all grades (6-12).  The instruction will be differentiated for all levels of skill and athleticism.  First time badminton players will learn the basics of badminton, such as racquet grip, entry level strokes and the rules of the game (the lines, scoring, etc.)  Novice players will build from beginner skills and will be instructed in foot work, advanced stroke variation, match play and singles vs. doubles style of play.  Advanced players will build from novice skills and learn advanced footwork movement, shot variation, offensive and defensive strategies as well as singles and doubles strategy and match play.  Equipment: it is recommended that you bring your own racquet as we do not always have enough for everyone. Proper footwear would be a typical court shoe.  Court shoes are strongly encouraged.

Boys and Girls 7th-12th Grade Cross Country:

The SCN cross country program is excited to offer our cross country camp that works in conjunction with the Co-Ed Track & Field Distance Camp. We highly encourage registration in both camps as they are complimentary to developing the best distance athletes possible for both cross country and track. The first meeting is at the track at SCN, and there sill be a rotation of locations for the summer. This camp is perfect for any athlete (grades 7-12) who is interested in cross country or endurance training. We break into several training groups, so there is a place for everyone - no matter your experience with endurance training. All you need is a good pair of running shoes, a positive attitude, and a willingness to put forth effort!

Offered to Grades 9-12, the SCN Girls Flag Football Coaching Staff will be offering an 8 Session developmental team camp.  The camp will focus on skill development, fundamentals,strategies of the game and high school game rules. The camp curriculum will include offense and defensive strategies as well as position specific training on both sides of the ball.  Each area taught will include in-depth instruction and demonstration.  This camp is a must if you are interested in playing Flag Football this fall.  Campers should wear shorts, t-shirt, molded football cleats and mouthguard.

Tyler Nubin’s Rising Stars Weekend!  SCN Football is excited to bring NFL Star and former St. Charles North Legend Tyler Nubin back to SCN for this boys and girls football skills camp.  Campers will work with SCN staff and numerous SCN alumni in this 2-day skills camp.  Current and former collegiate Stars will join NY Giants Safety Tyler Nubin in teaching the game at an elite level.  No experience is necessary and please bring water daily.

SCN Summer Golf Camp, where players of all levels come together to improve their skills and enjoy the beautiful game of golf! Our camp offers a comprehensive experience designed to cater to the needs of both beginners and seasoned players alike.  

Under the guidance of our experienced high school coaches, you'll have the opportunity to refine your techniques on the range and putting green. Whether you're just starting out and eager to learn the fundamentals or a seasoned golfer seeking to fine-tune your game, our coaches are committed to providing personalized guidance and feedback to help you reach your goals.

You'll also get the chance to put your skills to the test on Mill Creek Golf Course. Over the course of the week, you'll have the opportunity to play nine holes multiple times, giving you valuable real-world experience and the chance to apply what you've learned in a competitive setting.

At our summer camp, our primary goal is to instill a love for the game of golf in all our participants. Whether you're striving to improve your game or simply looking to have fun on the course, we're here to support you every step of the way. We can't wait to see you on the fairways!

The June camp (grades 6-12) is aimed at newer players and those who are striving to make quick improvements and not really intending to play weekly tournaments throughout the summer.  Girls Golf will be offering a summer camp based at Prairie Landings (Monday/Tuesday 9:00am - 12:00pm) and Pottawatomie (Wednesday/Thursday 9:00am - 12:00pm).  During the 2 days at Prairie Landings practice facilities, players will work driver/woods/hybrids, irons, approach play, bunker shots, putting from on and off the green and will have the opportunity to practice these areas of the game on the practice holes.  During the 9 hole rounds at Pottawatomie participants will be coached on how to play with a strong mental approach using 'neutral thinking', understand tactics of golf, and enhance their knowledge of the rules and different game formats - matchplay, stroke play, best ball and scramble.  improvements

The Snap! Manage portion of the camp costs are NOT INCLUSIVE of the fixed course fees.  Practice area use at Prairie Landings (approximately $20 per day, $40 total) and green fees at Pottawatomie (approximately $16 per day, $32 total) will be paid on the first day at each venue.  Checks will be made payable to either Prairie Landings or Pottawatomie for that portion of the cost.  Those players who are junior members at Pottawatomie will incur no greens fees for the Wednesday and Thursday rounds.

The July camp (high school players) is aimed at those players who are hoping to make either the Varsity or Junior Varsity team for the 25/26 season.  Day 1 will be held at Prairie Landings and focus on some more advanced short game skills before heading to Pottawatomie on Day 2, 3 and 4 to familiarize players with the try-outs course and receive coaching dedicated to course management, playing to score and positive mindsets.  Following this camp, players will have had the opportunity to view the course in a different way and to approach golf with a more thoughtful and relaxed manner.

Manage portion of the camp costs are NOT INCLUSIVE of the fixed course fees.  Practice area use at Prairie Landings (approximately $20 per day, $40 total) and green fees at Pottawatomie (approximately $16 per day, $32 total) will be paid on the first day at each venue.  Checks will be made payable to either Prairie Landings or Pottawatomie for that portion of the cost.  Those players who are junior members at Pottawatomie will incur no greens fees for the Wednesday and Thursday rounds.

The SCN boys water polo coaching staff will be offering a summer camp for grades (6-12).  No experience is needed but a swimming background is encouraged.  The instruction will be differentiated for all levels of skill and athleticism. First time water polo players will learn the basics of water polo, such as the eggbeater kick, fundamental throwing & catching, and the rules of the game. Experienced water polo players will build off of beginner skills and will be instructed in more advanced individual skills, as well as general team concepts. 

We will be competing in Summer League games.  These games will be scheduled in the evenings and will be played at local high schools.  Once the schedule is known it will be shared.  *Additional fee will be charged for coverage of summer league team fees (TBD).

Equipment: Swim suit is required (we suggest a speedo or jammer over trunks), and goggles are suggested for opening warm-up activities.
