This purpose of this camp is to provide fundamental technical and tactical instruction under match-related conditions. Athletes participate in drills related to technique, offensive/defensive tactics, motivation, and conditioning. Participants will engage in drills and scrimmages each session and the coaching staff will provide opportunities to demonstrate their full potential.

Our youth camp is led by our St. Francis High School cheer team and will teach a variety of cheerleading skills such as cheers, jumps, stunts, and dances. We will put a routine together using these skills that each camper will perform alongside our cheer team during halftime at the Blue & White Scrimmage game!

The purpose of this camp is for percussionists to work together in an ensemble setting. The camp focuses on playing several different cadences and techniques that are applicable to a drumline. Students will receive an opportunity to play Snare drum, Bass drum, Quads, and Cymbals. In addition to classic drumline instruments students will also play a cadence on garbage cans and paint buckets. All equipment provided. Students must be members of the St. Francis band program.

Learning the skills and techniques to prepare for the upcoming season, athletes are taught by the varsity coaches and varsity position coaches.  Techniques, skills, and drills are consistent with what is taught to the players throughout the season.  The goal is to have our athletes build into the season a stronger idea of how to play their position at a higher level.

Do nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs all seem the same? Does sentence diagramming leave you baffled? Do you need a quick refresher course before school starts in the fall? Then, let us help you unravel the mysteries of the parts of speech, noun functions, and diagramming in the “Fun with Grammar” camp offered this summer at St. Francis. This is an eight-day class that will not only get you ready for freshman English but will also give you a head start at meeting other St. Francis freshmen. Come learn the basics of grammar or just review in a fun way through interactive games.

Dancers will learn what it is like to dance on a High School Dance Team, learning short combinations in Jazz and Pom and participating in various technique classes. All dancers will have the opportunity to perform the material learned with us on the sidelines at a 2026 Home Football Game in the Fall! Each camper will also receive a t-shirt!

Marching Band Camp 2026

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7 (with a dinner and performance from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7).

This camp provides students enrolled in Percussion Ensemble and Wind Ensemble an opportunity to review marching fundamentals, learn music for the 2026/2027 season (large group and sectionals), and have a small performance at the end of the camp.

This camp provides students with experience in Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Vocals and Drums to play in an ensemble setting. Students will work on playing a wide variety of popular music. Students will be able to use their individual skills with a group and make progress in rhythm, melody, balance, improvisation and other musical elements. Students should have a working knowledge on their instrument. All equipment provided.
